|Pattonville High School recognizes Outstanding Senior, other department honorees at Senior Awards Night|

Pattonville High School senior Will Polster was named the Outstanding Senior for the Class of 2019 during Senior Awards Night on May 23. The Outstanding Senior is chosen each year from teacher nominations. The high school also honored several seniors with Outstanding Senior Departmental Awards and other special recognitions.
Each department recognizes one student who has shown outstanding academic achievement, leadership and citizenship. This year’s Outstanding Senior Departmental Award winners are: Kendall Battle, business; Mikayla Bridges, Pirate Sports Network; Madison Brown, ECHO yearbook; Michael Chien, Thomas Frick Service Award; Celia Friedrich, art; Najee Glass, family and consumer science; Emily Johnson, modern languages (Spanish); Sarah Johnson, community service and English language arts; Hannah Jones, modern languages (German); Kaitlyn Kelly, theater; Micah Lee, vocal music; Victoria Lofland, science; Gage Menk, mathematics; Nathaniel O'Connell, social studies; William Polster, speech and debate; Brayden Procter, skilled technical sciences; Steven Smith II, physical education; Abigail Surlet, orchestra; Jacob Wilfong, modern languages (French); Isaiah Wilkes, technology and engineering; Savanna Wooten, band; Leyi Zhang, English learner; and Maggie Zumwalt, health sciences.
The following special awards were also recognized: Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Sportsmanship Award - Victoria Lofland and Isaiah Wilkes; St. Louis Post-Dispatch Scholar Athlete - Kendall Battle; Four-Year Perfect Attendance - Joseph Ayers and Maggie Zumwalt; and
Commended Student, National Merit Scholarship program - Gage Menk.
