Board Actions
The board of education on Sept. 24:
- Reviewed an upcoming trip by the Pattonville High School marching band;
- Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district's Title I programs. View the presentation or read the report;
- Reviewed and accepted an evaluation of the district's English learner (EL) program; View the presentation or read the report;
- Approved the financial statements for the months of July and August 2019;
- Approved paying $875,370.14 for purchases made on Pattonville's purchasing cards, which earned the district a rebate of nearly 1% (or $8,432.39);
- Approved tax rates for agricultural, commercial, personal and residential properties for the 2019-2020 school year;
- Approved the adoption of Policy IICC-AP (School Volunteers) and the rescission of Policy IICC (School Volunteers);
- Readopted a resolution declaring the month of October 2019 as "Disability History and Awareness Month" in the Pattonville School District;
- Approved paying $10,258.56 to Tueth, Keeney, Cooper, Mohan and Jackstadt for legal services;
- Awarded the bid to remove and replace the fuel pump at the transportation bus garage to United Petroleum for $21,855;
- Awarded the proposal for mobile classroom audiovisual systems to Kansas City Audio-Visual for $159,326; and
- Approved the purchase of 40 iPads for teachers at elementary buildings for $17,920.
