On Feb. 28, Pattonville will begin enrolling children who will attend kindergarten next August. Kindergarten registration will be held in all Pattonville elementary buildings during the following time periods on Feb. 28: from 9 to 11:30 a.m., 12:30 to 3 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. Children should be registered in the school office at the elementary school serving the area where their home is located. In order to attend kindergarten next school year, children must be 5 years old on or before July 31, 2018.
To find the school in your attendance area, visit www.psdr3.org/map. Children who are currently in a Pattonville preschool program or Parents As Teachers will also need to enroll for kindergarten. To enroll a child for kindergarten, parents or guardians should bring with them:
Enrollment for Remington Traditional School, a K-8 school in Pattonville, is a lottery-based system. Parents interested in the lottery drawing should enroll in their home school first and then turn in an application for the lottery after March 1. Applications are available Feb. 1 in Remington’s school office or online at remington.psdr3.org. They are due back to Remington by March 16, 2018. The lottery will take place on April 3, 2018. Pattonville's Parents As Teachers program offers free kindergarten screening. Parents interested in an evaluation that includes health and developmental progress for children ages 3 1/2 and older should go online at ec.psdr3.org and click on “Sign up for a screening.”
Kindergarten registration after Feb. 28 will take place in the student services office at the Pattonville Learning Center by appointment only. To sign up for an appointment, go online at timetosignup.com/psdr3.
Classes for the 2018-2019 school year begin on Aug. 16.
