Pirate boys and girls track teams place in Top 5 at state championships |

The boys and girls track teams from Pattonville High School finished in the Top 5 after competing at the Missouri State High School Activities Association (MSHSAA) Class 5 state championships on May 25 and 26. The girls team finished second overall and the boys team finished fifth, making Pattonville the only high school in Class 5 to have both boys and girls earn places in the Top 5 in the state.
In addition, the following athletes earned All-State status by finishing in the Top 8 at state:

In addition to the 15 All-State performances, members of the teams broke 11 school records throughout the season.
Jeremiah Simmons is the head coach for the boys track team, and Corey Lewis is the head girls track team coach. Their assistant coaches are Margaret Gender, Kyle Hall, Scott Hauser, Rob Lamb and Kara White.
