|Learning Center secretary earns state leadership award|

Tami Quinn was chosen to receive the Soar with the Eagles Award by the Missouri National Education Association (MNEA). Quinn is an executive secretary and library technical assistant in the teaching and learning department at the Pattonville Learning Center. She is also vice president of the Pattonville Educational Support Professionals (PESP), the organization for support staff in Pattonville.
The Soar with the Eagles Award recognizes an active member whose presence and contribution of time, energy and/or wisdom within the past year has made a difference to the United Education Profession. According to the MNEA website, "The recipient should be an outstanding individual who does not hold a position on the Board of Directors of Missouri NEA."
As part of the award, Quinn will receive a full scholarship to the MNEA Leadership Conference this summer.
