Pattonville to host Donut Dash 5K and Fun Run in April
Thursday, February 27, 2020
Registration is now open for the Pattonville School District’s first Donut Dash 5K and Fun Run on Saturday, April 4. The Donut Dash is a competition of both running strength and stomach strength, with participants encouraged to eat donuts along the course.

Participants are able to sign up either as a dasher, who just want to run/walk, or an eater, who are in it for the donuts, and maybe some exercise. The event will feature both a 5K and 1 mile fun run. The 5K route features three donut stands and the fun run includes one donut stop. Donuts for the Donut Dash will be provided by Sweet Spot Café in St. Ann.

The Donut Dash will take place at Creve Coeur Park on April 4. The 5K starts at 9 a.m. and the fun run begins at 10 a.m., with an awards ceremony following both races. Registration is $20 for the 5K and $15 for the fun run. During registration, attendees will have the opportunity to register as a dasher or an eater. All attendees will receive a T-shirt, with sizes guaranteed for those registering before March 20. Packet pickup will be available the day before the Donut Dash at the Pattonville Learning Center and the morning of the race at the Tremayne Shelter in Creve Coeur Park.

Money raised benefits Pattonville’s after-school activity programs. Pattonville's after-school activities provide low-cost after-school opportunities for Pattonville students in elementary and middle school. In addition to special events, programs offered include athletics and after-school clubs in chess and STEM fields.
