Pattonville High School names Outstanding Senior, other department honorees

Pattonville High School senior Emily Schrumpf was named the Outstanding Senior for the Class of 2020. The Outstanding Senior is chosen each year from teacher nominations. The high school also named several seniors who earned departmental awards.

Each department recognized one student who has shown outstanding academic achievement, leadership and citizenship. This year’s Outstanding Senior Departmental Award winners are: Emily Barton, vocal music and theatre; Slena Caldwell, health sciences; Anthony Costa, German; Afina Fayez, science; Jenna Hageman, social studies; Rachel Huddleston, Spanish; Karla Martinez Vargas, English learner; Thomas McFarland, band; Nathan Moser, community service and technology and engineering; Kristinne Pacheco, skilled technical sciences and speech and debate; Keeley Peters, physical education; Jada Price, family and consumer sciences; Hameed Qasem, Thomas Frick Service Award; Matthew Samuel, mathematics; Emily Schrumpf, fine arts; Drake Seabaugh, Pirates Sports Net; Hailey Sparacio, French; Elise Thompkins, English language arts; Meekie Trieu, Echo yearbook; Rodney Wallace Jr., business; and Natalie Young, orchestra.

Logan Bozich and Vince Costa were recognized for having perfect attendance for all four years of high school.
